Tailmesh, Inc. (“Tailmesh,” “we,” or “us”) provides operational intelligence, collaboration, desktop, developer-platform, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information and how you may exercise available privacy rights.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process through our websites, desktop and mobile applications, APIs, support channels, and other online and offline offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
If you access the Services on behalf of an organization, such as your employer, your personal information may also be subject to that organization’s privacy policy. Our agreement with that organization may restrict our use of your personal information.
Personal information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Account and profile information. We may collect your name, email address, username, authentication information, phone number, professional details, organization, and preferences.
- Operational and collaboration content. We process information that you or your organization submit to coordinate work, communicate with other users, configure integrations, or use product features.
- Support and other communications. We collect the contact details, subject, category, message, and related context you provide when requesting support, early access, product information, documentation, or partnership assistance.
- Developer and integration information. We may collect API-client details, integration configuration, deployment metadata, and information needed to authenticate and operate an integration.
- Events, surveys, and business development. We collect information you choose to provide through surveys, events, partnerships, or other business interactions.
- Job applications. If you apply for a position, we process the information in your application and related communications.
Do not submit passwords, verification codes, API keys, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other secrets through public contact or support forms.
Information collected automatically
We may automatically collect device and usage information, including IP address, browser and operating-system details, device identifiers, application version, referring pages, links clicked, feature interactions, timestamps, diagnostics, crash data, and security events. We may use cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to operate, secure, remember preferences for, and understand the Services.
Information from organizations and integrations
An organization on whose behalf you use the Services may provide information needed to provision and administer your account. At your or your organization’s direction, integrations may provide operational records, schedules, messages, telemetry, partner information, or other data needed for the requested workflow.
How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- provision accounts, authenticate users, and administer organizations;
- present shared operational context and support collaboration;
- operate requested integrations and developer features;
- respond to questions, support requests, and product inquiries;
- monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and protect the security and integrity of the Services;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity;
- communicate about accounts, service activity, security, administration, and policy changes;
- measure engagement and develop products and services;
- comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes; and
- carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.
We may create and use de-identified or aggregated information for research, analytics, service improvement, and other lawful purposes.
How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Your organization and authorized users. Administrators and other authorized participants may access information associated with an organizational account or shared workflow.
- Service providers. Providers may process information on our behalf for hosting, infrastructure, communications, customer support, analytics, security, and related functions.
- Integration partners. At your or your organization’s direction, we may exchange information with systems and partners involved in a requested integration or operational workflow.
- Government authorities and other parties for legal or safety purposes. We may preserve or disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is required or appropriate to comply with law, protect rights or safety, enforce agreements, collect amounts owed, or investigate suspected unlawful activity.
- Parties to a corporate transaction. Information may be transferred in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of assets, or transition of service.
We do not sell personal information for money.
International data transfers
Information may be transferred, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. We endeavor to safeguard information in accordance with applicable law.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to know whether we process your personal information; access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision regarding a request.
You may use available product settings or contact us to exercise an applicable right. We may need to verify your identity and authority. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, that organization may be responsible for responding to your request.
You can configure your browser to restrict cookies or local storage, although parts of the Services may then work incorrectly. You may use an unsubscribe link to stop marketing emails while continuing to receive transactional, security, administrative, and other non-promotional communications.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information, the processing purpose, legal requirements, and security needs.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you provide.
Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of each third-party service you use.
Children’s information
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or another minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
